—✧ STRUCTURE: How do we work ?

— ⚠︎ Note . . .
If you need a frame of reference, you can look through OSDD system's structures. However, we currently don't wish to have a diagnosis as we heavily dislike the connotation of one.

— ☾ .Individuality. . The most important thing to note about how we work: We are all our own individuals. No matter how similar we might speak, how similar we might think, we are all our own person.
— ☾ .Control. . We like to think of it like this: The headmates, who all have roles and the brain, who designs the roles and decides who does who, and how memories are distributed. It's as if it's its own entity, like an AI or an animal. You can maybe hack into it, or convince it to do what you want, but it will always be running its programming on what it thinks is best for its own survival, to the point we might not have control over what happens or not.
— ☾ .Memories. . Our memories can be shared voluntarily, or involuntarily depending on situation. However, most than not, our headmates share basic knowledge of what the body's stored memories that gains through the day if they wish to tap into the memories. It is a learned skill to know how to have memories shared or hidden, from others and yourself. We don't truly have any memory barrier imposed by switching, more than possibly emotional memories, and not even that at times.
— ☾ .Fronting. . Fronting, or taking over the body's mind and movement, is a complex thing to explain for our case. The host, Reko, is always stuck in being conscious and absorbing information, whether it even knows it. The way switching works for us, is like giving the controller to another person who just came by, or was watching us play. While Void is always watching the gameplay and the person playing it, I cannot fully ignore it. Even if I stop looking at it, I am hearing, I am feeling the physical effects (unless I dissociate or zone out). In extreme cases, we can experience partial emotional and physical memory barriers.

However, it's a different case for non-hosts, if the brain wishes to do so, it can put them in a sleeping state, like temporary dormancy whenever it deems it necessary. They can also just sleep if they wish to do so or be as further away as they want from the fronting spot.

—✧ HEADSPACE: Our silly innerworld

We have different locations in what we call our headspace, which is where we reside when not fronting. It's like a world inside our brain. For now, it's not particularly lively. Here are some main locations:

—✧ THE CONTROL HUB: The main front spot.

Nothing more than infinite void and screen to the outer-world, but it looks that if you walk far enough, and that is a VERY far enough you can find The Woods. It has paths leading to nowhere, from what I know, except for the one on the right, it leads to a cabin. It looks as if the Deep Dark and The Void were mixed together.

—✧ THE WOODS: The Animals' Forest.

A forest that has grown inside of the Void. Always foggy, autumn or winter and dark, it has a creek somewhere. Sometimes it's morning fog, other times it's just foggy. Most likely comes from Caligo as it produces fog wherever it goes. Does not have any other creature I can see (beside our animal headmates), but sometimes I can hear birds chirping or the caws of crows. Always have the feeling someone is watching me (again, probably Caligo, it never stops staring at me whenever I go to The Woods). Also no source of light anywhere, it looks like when you walk through a dark videogame.Artist: DavidJrPalos on Tumblr

—✧ GREEN HILLS: Spike's little enclosure.

The brain gave him his very own Green Hills, although...the one from the movies. Only Spikes access to it so I'll just let him describe it. "It's always evening, not at all like the sunny skies we had all the time. When I first discovered it, I was super excited to see something familiar after all this time, but as I started to run around and exploring. I noticed it wasn't my Green Hills, a lot of stuff is out of place or there's new stuff I've never seen before, which is fun but, you get me."

—✧ THE CEMETARY: The Dormant's Resting Spot

Where all the dormant headmates go to, they look like statues. I think there's an owl that watches over them. Always foggy, always night or morning. There is no light source, like The Woods. An overgrown graveyard surrounded by a thick forest. Maybe the outskirts of The Woods? Have only seen it once or twice, very difficult to access. It feels ghostly.

—✧ THE WINTER ROOM: The Home

It is always morning. Always snowing, or the streets outside are being filled with at least a half-a-foot worth of snow. It's always cold, but not enough to be freezing. It has a weird effect to make you feel instant comfort. It feels like a dream. You can only teleport or be forced in by the brain.
